About
Akin joined Stevenage Borough FC in the summer of 2010 and has since been an ever present member of the Under 18 team and featured frequently for the reserve team.
Akin’s has great strength, allied to good ball control and a wide range of passing allows him to break up the oppositions attack and spread the play successfully. He adopts a very similar type of play to that of his role model Michael Essien. As a player he is very vocal on the pitch as he is a born winner. His goal is to play for his beloved country Nigeria and become a Super Eagles squad member.
Akin said, “I love football. It is a game that I have always played and want to excel in. With Talents of Africa, I believe my best interest is being looked after. You always need good people around you that understand your culture”.
